Car Accident – “crooked” Steering Wheel?
I recently got into an automobile accident, which was my fault. I was slowing down at a red light in bad winter conditions and started into a semi-sideways skid and hit the car in front of me. Not hard, maybe about 15-20mph tops. Anyways, the impact point was my drivers side wheel-well area hit their passenger side back corner fender.
After the accident, the only thing wrong i noticed (besides minor dents) is that in order to drive straight, the steering wheel has to be positioned around 10′oclock. I am not much of a car guy so I really have little clue what’s wrong. It’s scheduled later this week for an estimate but I wanted a heads up on some possible explanations.
Can someone give me some ideas on what it could be?
Thank you!
